HOW TO FILM YOUR GOLF SWING
It is very important to have correct camera angles when filming your golf swing for a video analysis. If the camera angles are not directly down the line or directly face on (as shown below), we will not be able correctly identify swing position flaws.
DOWN THE LINE (DTL)
- Place mobile phone or tablet on tripod or golf bag behind you
- Ensure the camera is directly down your hand line, parallel to your target line
- The target line is in line from the golf ball to your end point
- RECOMMENDED: In the photo, the orange sticks are down the feet line and outside the ball line, parallel to the target line. This ensures your body and club face alignment are square to the target line.
FACE ON (FO)
- Place mobile phone or tablet on tripod or golf bag facing you
- Ensure the camera is centered on your body
- Ensure the height of the camera is between your waist and sternum
