The Saber Stick training is a great tool that helps golfers develop the proper positions in the golf swing, if used correctly. On this page, PGA Director of Instruction, JJ Wood has provided the best drills to help you build a consistent golf swing.

BODY TURN
THE ENGINE THAT RUNS YOUR GOLF SWING Rarely do I find a golfer that can set up correctly, and by correctly I mean in “athletic golf posture”. The golf set up is different from most other sports, where we want to turn more rotational, where other sports want to also go laterally.
HOW TO TURN CORRECTLY The second part of the video is the coach demonstrating how to turn properly in the golf swing. In addition to building consistent swing positions, learning how to turn properly will reduce your risk for back issues down the road.
GOLF SWING
SWING POSITIONS What most golfers don’t realize is that they will make swing changes much more quickly, without losing confidence, if they use the heavy side of the saber stick, with slow – exaggerated movements. Your golf swing positions are habits, these habits can be changed, but not by going full speed hitting golf balls.
HOW TO TRAIN YOUR GOLF SWING
Slow motion swings, exaggerating the feel of swing positions you're focused on
Feel is not reality, use a mirror behind you to check positions as you rehearse
When you hit golf balls, put a feel and tempo/ timing to those positions
Only have one swing thought when practicing on the range
